What I've learned about massage so far is that humans have some fundamental needs to survive: water, food, nature, motion and connection. Massage helps keep the body optimized for all of these. By helping our bodies absorb nutrients and lower stress response, massage enables us to stay in motion, to feel connected to others and the world around us.
